How Does It Work?
While we can quote using photos &/or videos, we always prefer to visit the property that needs clearing so we can provide you with an accurate (free), no obligation quote. This visit also provides us with the opportunity to discuss the job with you in detail. Every job is different and it is important to us that your expectations are met.
Our free quote will include ALL labour, packing, transport, waste transfer, disposal costs etc.
With us, there are no hidden costs to pay!
What do we do with the items removed?
We really have seen it all! No two jobs are ever the same. Our quote is fully inclusive of all fees there is nothing more for you to pay. Any items that we can sell-on/recycle/re-use, we will. Our environment and our commitment to do what we can to reduce our carbon footprint is very important to us. Wherever possible, we will upcycle, recycle, re-use, re-purpose or sell-on any items removed for your property. We do everything possible to prevent any items going to landfill. We support a number of local and national charities.
What we are NOT!
CAUTION: Please be aware, that YOU are legally responsible for YOUR waste!
There are many other companies out there offering clearance services which may appear 'similar' to ours. But it is important that you understand the differences and choose wisely. If you pay a disreputable company to remove your waste and they do so illegally by fly-tipping it, it is YOU that will be fined if the waste can be traced back to yourself or your property!
We are not a 'Rubbish Removal' company. Rather than hiring a skip, Rubbish Removal Companies will collect your waste and take it away for you - The same legal warning (above) applies to this sort of service, but seeing your loved ones furniture being smashed up on their driveway may not be what you are expecting.
We are not an 'Auction House' either. Auction houses sometimes offer clearance services but they will only take items that they believe are 'saleable' at their auctions. All low value items will not be removed.
What happens on the day?
On the day of the clearance our uniformed staff will arrive at the property at the agreed time. We are happy to meet up with yourself, your representative or we are happy to be the custodians of a spare key to gain entry to the property.
We will box-up all items that are to be removed (leaving any identified items that are staying). Subject to the size of the job, van loads will be transported back to our warehouse for sorting. When all items have been removed, we will vacuum all floors and make the arrangements for leaving the property. Completion photos will be taken. If we have been trusted with a key, we will return this in accordance with our agreement. Wherever possible, we would prefer our work to be signed-off by yourself or your representative. When this is not possible, our completion photos will be sent to you as proof of completion.
Licenced Waste Carriers
We are registered and licensed with the environmental agency as waste carriers
ALL items that we remove will be sold, re-used, recycled, upcycled or given to registered charities. ALL waste will be legally disposed of using registered waste disposal companies under a Waste Transfer Note.
